National Register for the Road Transportation of Goods on Third Persons' Account - The road transportation activity in Italy is controlled by the rules issued by the Department of Transportation providing the compulsory enrolment of the transporters in a specific Register. The illegal activity of road transportation provide sanctions and penalties. In order to offer a more complete service to their customers, FER Fischer & Rechsteiner are not only forwarders but also haulagers contractors and transporters with their own trucks and trailers. Fiata - To carry out the activity of international forwarder, above all for the sea traffics, a company must be enrolled in Fiata (Fédération Internationale des Associations de Transitaires et Assimilés) established on 31st May 1926 and located in Zurich. Being individual member of Fiata and having given all the requested guarantees, FER Fischer & Rechsteiner can issue all the documents with Fiata mark accepted at the CCI - International Chamber of Commerce - (among which the FIATA FCR, FCT, FIATA Bill of Lading) internationally accepted by the banks to negotiate the credits. FER Fischer & Rechsteiner is directly member of FEDESPEDI (Federazione Nazionale delle Imprese di Spedizioni Internazionali) of Milan.

 
 

Iata - International Air Transport Association is a trade association of the world-wide airlines handling regular air services, to which over 200 air carriers belong. The air transport industry has developped during the years through the Agents as intermediaries in the several marketplaces. A freight forwarder has traditionally provided the ideal link between the shipper and the airlines. Among other things, the Iata Agent can issue directly the Air Way Bills. In order to obtain and mantain the accreditation as Iata Agent it is necessary to have certain qualifications in order to be registered in the official list of the Iata Agents (qualified stuff, financial requirements, suitability of premises and cargo handling equipments, respect of the national rules). The Iata code, complete of Cass code, of FER Fischer & Rechsteiner is 38.4.7268.001.3.

 
 

Customs Administration - FER Fischer & Rechsteiner is accredited at the Customs Administration by the procedure of the indirect representation at the customs as per the inscription at the N. 15 dated 01.10.93 of the register institued as per the ministerial circular N. 223-prot.2287/VIII dated 21.07.1993. In order to make the customs clearance service very fast and professional, our company offer furthermore the benefit of the simplified procedure of customs control directly at our terminal , both for the export and for the import goods, as per the authorization N. 0103/CS. Moreover, FER Fischer & Rechsteiner has received by the Regional Customs Administration of Milan the exemption from the compulsory money guarantee for the postponed payment of the customs duties as per the article 90 of the T.U.L.D.. This is an important acknowledgement confirming the solidity of our company's patrimonial and financial structure.

 
 

Customs Depot / VAT Depot: the VAT fiscal depots definitely entered in our regulations with the Law 18.02.97, N. 28 which introduced in the D.L. N. 331/93 the article 50 bis. In this way it is possible to work also in Italy with the same fiscal VAT facilities in force in the other Countries of the European Community. The subjects automatically authorized to handle the fiscal VAT depots are:

  • the companies carring on the General Customs Warehouses;
  • the companies carring on the private customs depot on third persons' account;
  • the bonded warehouses and the bonded points.

Furthermore other subjects can be licensed to keep national and community goods under the VAT depot rules if these subjects are trusted by the financing Administration: the authorization can be given exclusively to capital companies presenting particular qualifications which are strictly controlled and evaluated by the financing Administration. FER Fischer & Rechsteiner has obtained the specific authorization to handle a customs depot and a VAT depot under the identification number 100/C.
