During the last years, FER Fischer & Rechsteiner has specialised in the shipment of big industrial plants, taking care of all the phases of these long and delicate operations:
- Inspection of the plants to be dismantled and shipped and examination of the pieces to be transported
- Quantification and division of the pieces/dimensions/weights in order to establish the most indicated way and means of transport
- Assistance to the clients for all the procedures, authorisations, special permits and documentations
- Consultancies to point out and combine the various and best transport solutions ( groupage or full container sea shipments, airfreight shipments, special transports, etc.)
- Supervision to co-ordinate the demurrage of the pieces in the port and/or at selected depots
- Booking of specific spaces on the vessels
- Supervision of the unstuffing operations at destination ports
- Co-ordination of the information between senders and consignees
