1970 – 1980
Starting from the 70ties FER Fischer & Rechsteiner begin handling the transports of big industrial plants. Between 1970 and 1980 the company handles the sea and ocean shipments of big dimensions pieces, often with the affreightment of exclusive vessels and of auto-hoisting vessels, which are big floating lighters transporting enormous cranes able of going aboard and off with their own means.
Among the most important shipments, the following ones can be remembered:
- incinerator plants in Ghana/Africa
- satellite dishes/aerials with dishes of about 30/40 mts diameter for USA
- metal structures for a bridge on the Bosporus at Istanbul/Turkey
